Starter of the month  POLISH STYLE SALAD by Ela

boiled potatoes
boiled carrots
boiled eggs
apples
leek or onion
pickled gherkins
tin of green peas or sweetcorn
mayonnaise
salt and pepper

Ela found time to give us a recipe from her home country while frantically editing these web pages.

 

Serves: 4-6  
Prep. time: About 1 hour

Please use equal portions of ingredients to prepare this salad. Cook carrots and potatoes in a pan of boiling salted water until tender, hard boil eggs and allow to cool. Cut all of the ingredients in a very small cubes (size of green pea) and mix together. Season well, add mayonnaise and mix well. Serve cold.
